[short_description_1] => Partners with Indian Organic Cotton Farmers
[short_description_2] => Preserves Indigenous Culture & Crafts
[short_description_3] => Promotes Fair Wages & Ethical Employment
[long_description] => Christy Dawn is a "farm-to-closet" women's clothing brand. They invest in regenerative agriculture to heal Mother Earth and ourselves. They collaborate with Oshadi Farm, an Indian farm collective that grows organic cotton using traditional techniques. Through their practices, they've regenerated chemically-treated and arid land. Restored biodiversity. And drawn down more than 2 million tons of carbon. Farmers gain financial independence, and everyone from "farm-to-closet" is paid a living wage.

[short_description_1] => Ethically Made in Canada & USA
[short_description_2] => Made with Natural & Sustainable Materials
[short_description_3] => Offers Second Life & Repairs Program
[long_description] => Ecologyst is a slow apparel, "Made in Canada" clothing brand. Most of their built-to-last clothes are made in a start-to-finish process at their HQ factory. They also partner with makers close to home in Canada and the USA. They use responsibly sourced, natural materials, including ZQ Certified Wool and Organic Cotton. Workers are paid at least a family living wage. Second Life and Repairs for Life programs foster a shift away from disposable clothing. Their partner company Ecologyst Films strives to improve the diversity, intersectionality and inclusion in key creative roles, content, concepts and stories with every project and story they tell.

[long_description] => ELEVEN SIX offers an elevated approach to knitwear combining contemporary design with traditional Andean knitting techniques. Pieces are created from the finest spun Alpaca yarns and Peruvian pima cottons. Fibers are produced by two Fair Trade certified Peruvian Mills that maintain high standards of sustainability and care for the animals during shearing. Garments are made by three small family-owned businesses who work with networks of skilled artisan cooperatives. Production methods include hand and machine knitting, macram and crochet.

[long_description] => Groceries Apparel makes organic and non-toxic basics and activewear. All their dyes come from plants and food waste. Like avocado pits and skins. Fermented indigo. Onion skins. Carrot tops. Madder root. Coffee grounds. They operate their own dye house that also happens to be the only production scale, 100% non-toxic dye house in the USA! They have completely eliminated all heavy metals and toxic chemicals from their supply chain. Their entire manufacturing process happens under one roof in Downtown Los Angeles.

[long_description] => Happy Earth is a women's and men's clothing brand that's all about protecting the planet. They're net-negative on carbon emissions, reducing what they can, offsetting what they can't. They only use organic cotton, sustainable cork and reclaimed fibers. They give back. In fact, you get to choose the campaign your purchase supports. Want to combat climate change? Planting trees? Clean up trash? Make your selection when you make your purchase. And from the farmers that grow their organic cotton to the artisans that sew their garments, Happy Earth values the makers. Fair Trade and WRAP certified facilities ensure support for the makers' communities.

[long_description] => LA Relaxed is a planet-positive and people-first women's apparel brand. It only takes 100 steps to complete a garment! The design studio, pattern room, cutting table, production line and packing line are all under one roof. LA Relaxed doesn't over produce or send garments to landfill. They source third-party certified, plant based fibers, like GOTS certified organic cotton and Lenzing. This means they are as safe for growers as they are for your skin. And they work with LA-based mills to salvage fabrics. Fabrics are dyed at local Bluesign certified dye houses that recycle water and use low impact, non-toxic dyes.

[long_description] => Nobody Denim believes that sustainable business is good business. Their products are made in their hometown of Melbourne where they guarantee fair working conditions and work with Sustainability Victoria and independent assessors to reduce their environmental footprint. Their certified carbon positive denim collection is made with carbon positive cotton grown in Australia and tracked using blockchain technology called FibreTrace. They also use cotton alternatives (such as hemp and lyocell), natural dyes and recycled yarns. Waste is reused creatively in new collections or donated to other producers. Nobody Denim's repair services are free for one year following purchase.

[long_description] => Nudie Jeans is a women's and men's sustainable denim company and leader in the eco fashion revolution. They only use fair trade, organic certified cotton. This means they take responsibility for their environmental impact from the very first step in the process of making a pair of jeans. As a member of the Fair Wear Foundation, they ensure fair and safe working conditions, and they incorporate FWF's Code of Labor Practice into their very own Code of Conduct. Their free repair program and repair shops just might be the coolest thing that sets Nudie Jeans apart from mainstream denim. Oh, and if repair is no longer an option, then turn in your denim to be recycled and get 20% off your next purchase!

[short_description_2] => Made with Natural & Sustainable Materials

[long_description] => Passion Lilie is a fashion brand that builds intentional partnerships with makers in India who align with their ethics and sustainability goals. Production methods include ikat, kutch and handloom weaving and block printing. They use organic cotton, other durable natural fibers, upcycled fabrics and non-toxic dyes. They follow Fair Trade Federation guidelines and only work with groups who offer living wages, safe work environments without discrimination, low to no-interest loans, optional overtime and paid vacation, sick leave and government holidays. Most have high retention rates, financial literacy programs and pay 2x or 3x minimum wage and overtime pay 2x regular salary. Passion Lilie's training program gives women three months of free job training (during which they never work on Passion Lilie garments) along with a salary and a loaned sewing machine. When she is done, the trainee is offered a job. Passion Lilie works to minimize their transportation footprint by sourcing local materials, purchasing carbon offsets for shipping and encouraging customers to purchase offsets at checkout.

[long_description] => prAna is a lifestyle brand that makes SoCal inspired activewear and outdoor-friendly clothing for men and women. Beaver and Pam Theodosakis launched prAna from their own garage, making the clothing (and even the recycled paper tags) themselves. They were the very first North American clothing company to introduce Fair Trade certified clothing. And the list goes on: they are a Fair Labor Association accredited brand; they operate Fair Trade certified factories; they are a founding member of the OIA Climate Action Corps; they are a bluesign partner; and they are a member of the Chetna Coalition, a cooperative organization that builds a value chain for 10,000 organic cotton farmers. prAna uses proceeds to support the 5 Gyres Institute, Canopy, The Conservation Alliance and Outdoor Outreach.

[long_description] => The Classic T-Shirt Company's tees for women and men are ethically made and organic. What makes them even more special? Every tee has a high thread count making it softer and more durable and giving it that unique sheen that doesn't fade even after multiple washes. They only use GOTS certified organic cotton ethically sourced from local farms in India. Everything is made locally in Los Angeles. They pay all their workers living wages.

[short_description_1] => Ethically Made in India
[short_description_2] => Made with Natural & Sustainable Materials
[short_description_3] => Preserves Indigenous Culture & Crafts
[long_description] => The Ethical Silk Company makes responsibly harvested mulberry silk goods. Mulberry silk is extracted after the moth has left the cocoon, leaving the moth unharmed. This kind method results in a beautiful matte lustre. Everything is designed in Ireland and made in India by fair trade tailor Mehera Shaw. Block printed products are hand dyed with low impact, AZO free dyes. A water filtration system removes residue so it can be recycled and reused for fabric washing, and a rainwater catchment system reduces water use. Production is limited to short and repeat runs. Careful pattern placement minimises waste. And older stock is repurposed into smaller items. 10% of profits are donated to Jeevan Jyothi AIDS Centre in India and Focus Ireland, a charity that works to prevent people becoming, remaining or returning to homelessness.

[long_description] => VitaminA is an eco swimwear brand that is (literally) cleaning up our beaches. They're as passionate about making sustainable swimwear as they are about hosting beach clean-ups! VitaminA's founder created the first premium swim fabric made from recycled nylon fibers and named it EcoLux. They also use other sustainable fabrics like organic cotton, linen, recycled cotton and Tencel. Most products are made locally in California. For all items made outside the US, VitaminA partners with fair trade factories.

[long_description] => YesAnd has worked for more than three decades with a close-knit team of Indian farmers, mills and collaborators to make fashion sustainable. They only use sustainable materials like organic cotton and Tencel. Cotton products are GOTS certified. They use inks free from harmful chemicals. That means no chlorine bleach, acetone, formaldehyde or heavy metals. Their supply chain follows stringent labor standards, including payment of a living wage, safe working conditions and absolutely no child labor. They offset some of their carbon emissions by planting a mangrove tree for every order.

Passion Lilie is a fashion brand that builds intentional partnerships with makers in India who align with their ethics and sustainability goals. Passion Lilie works to minimize their transportation footprint by sourcing local materials, purchasing carbon offsets for shipping and encouraging customers to purchase offsets at checkout.

prAna is a lifestyle brand that makes SoCal inspired activewear and outdoor-friendly clothing for men and women.

The Ethical Silk Company makes responsibly harvested mulberry silk goods.
