Their first goal was to save London's decommissioned fire-hose from landfill. This was just the beginning. This has grown into a global social enterprise. Each Known Supply & Krochet Kids piece is hand-signed by the maker, and customers can search the Known Supply site to read each maker's bio. Krochet Kids products are handmade by artisans in Uganda and Peru. Known Supply makes all of their woven hats at ASI which is the world's first Fair Trade Certified production facility in China. All apparel is made in a factory in Peru that provides meaningful job training and employment to women and offers onsite childcare. They also work with four Fair Trade Certified factories in India.
