Dooeys is a woman-owned brand that makes stylish house shoes from plant-based & recycled materials. Vegan Apple Leather from skins and cores is recovered from the juice industry in Northern Italy. Premium vegan suede is made from post-industrial polyester scrap. Cork comes from bark only without harvesting trees. Insoles are made from recycled plastic. Soles are made from Sugarcane EVA. Lining is made from recycled plastic bottles and post-consumer recycled polyester or GOTS-certified cotton. Natural latex or recycled foam provides a supportive, springy feel. Scraps are recovered and upcycled. Dooeys are made in small batches at a small factory in Portugal that is dedicated to ethical manufacturing.
